Why GigaTown
Design the connection, not only the parts.
Jason created GigaTown to explore a simple but consequential question: what if major infrastructure were designed to leave a host community with durable productive capacity, rather than a narrow package of benefits attached after the core project was already fixed?
His work focuses on aligning consequential infrastructure with long-term community value. That means treating energy, compute, heat, water, agriculture, land, housing, industry, and public life as connected product and operating decisions.
The founder’s thesis
The individual technologies are not the breakthrough.
The innovation is the commercial, physical, and civic architecture connecting otherwise separate systems.
When those connections are designed deliberately, each participant can have a clear reason to join, each operator can hold a defined responsibility, useful resources can remain in circulation longer, and the host community can receive something more durable than mitigation money.
